This would be the design. The car, using that term lightly, is called a Aptera. Its creator, Steve Fambro, claims the vehicle can perform at 300 mpg. With gas prices rising past $3, it would cost me $24.62 to drive the Aptera from Las Angeles to New York. Fambro claims the car will cost less than 30K.
