Kanye West... the lost singles

Get it here.

At this point, if we do 5 posts without mentioning Kanye, we aren't doing our job. I know, I know, if these never made it, how can they be good? I haven't listened to them yet, but they are worth a play, just to see if there are a couple of gems.

First puppets, now animation. Okay Yeezy...

Almost a year ago I made a post about an upcoming Family Guy spin-off called 'The Cleveland Show' featuring everyone's favorite black deli owner, Cleveland Brown. It's still going through the motions of being finished, but its on the way. But, that's not why I'm posting about the show.

Kanye West will add yet another name to his long list of aliases by guest starring in the show, playing a failed rapper named (stick with me here), Kenny West.

I really shouldn't be surprised about this, yet I am. Ye never fails to amaze.

This is where I draw the line...

The Fray covers Ye's Heartless. Ugh...

Love Lockdown x Heartless/Pinocchio Story (!)

From last night's edition of SNL, which was Amy Polar's final show.

I know what you're wondering and no, Kanye didn't contribute to ANY (c'mon Lauren!) skits this time. I would have loved to see a Andy Samberg/'Ye (dream) collabo, but instead I am left dissapointed.

The intermix of Heartless into Pinocchio Story and then back to Heartless was dope, though, and so was that outfit-possibly more Pastelle for us to feast-and dream of purchasing- our eyes on.

AND i know Kanye wants to milk out his first two singles, being the ones featured above, but he should progressively start adding this piece to his repetoire:

I'm Sorry...

For 2 reasons
1) Yet again I have fell victim to my ultimate kryptonite-stumbling upon new 'Ye and not being able to resist
and
2) For posting this prematurely
I'm not gonna front, the song is fire, but I'm well aware that plenty of people will most likely disagree with me (cue the auto-tune remarks). This beat could have easily been used on a Chromeo album in my opinion, but I love this look for 'Ye.

If you're like me and are continuing to ruin the element of suprise and the hip-hop game as we know it by illegaling downing joints, then get at me with some thoughts.

*UPDATE*
I was hesitant at first to come out and say it, but after further research I am now 100% correct that the vocals on the hook are provided by none other than Kid Cudi. Glad too see 'Ye stuck to his word on working with the Michael Beasely (yeah I went there, which makes Wale D-Rose, I guess) of hip hop.

808s and Heartbreak/UMC Album Art

Is it just me, or has 'Ye gotten mad lazy nowadays or has lost his eccentricity? Maybe the cover is a new trend of him portraying his passion for art (i.e. THIS).

For the visually impaired, you can view Com's track list here courtesty of OnSmash
Mark your calendars:
Yeezy's album drops November 25th and Common's is set to drop the 9th of December...hopefully
