So this is the Welcome to Heartbreak video. It starts off like Sensual Seduction (or Sexual Eruption, whatever you're into) and I started getting nervous. I've covered my love for Kanye videos in all their pushing-the-envelop and unique glory ad nauseum. Alas, I could relax two or three seconds into the video as it was transformed into some crackhead-ish. The video also features the silhouette of Kid Cudi who, over the weekend, was tasered because of his intense love of Jordans.
Apparently the video was rushed out by 'Ye because "We know there is another video out there using the same technique...we were forced to drop it now."
Which begs the question: Who the F&%K is doing a replica of this video?
Between the 12-foot rim, telephone booth, Krypto-Nate, Geico H.O.R.S.E. trophy and Shaq-diesel doing this, the All-Star weekend was a little on the ridiculous side. Not to say I didn't like it, but it was ridiculous nonetheless.
Sonic's latest-and possibly greatest-mixtape dropped recently, but it sort of blended in with this month's mixtape frenzy-Drake, Tip, Etc- like a young 'Ye living in China (only kidding). Maybe he lost some credibility after even thinking of going at it with Soulja (Girl), who knows.
Anyways, this may be CH's premier mixtape yet. I've only just gotten through the tape, but the premise is pervasive throughout:
Dude is in love with Rhianna.
However (un)timely this piece may be, its worthy of your listening.
Just caught this spot in the midst of watching the Heat vs. Bulls tonight on TNT which was a barn burner (The Matrix put the game in favor of the Heat with a nasty facial with 1 tick left). This is one of the dopest commercials MJ and affiliates have put out in a long minute, granted their commercials are always above average. This is one of the many pieces via the "Become Legendary" series which I'm sure avid hoops fan are familiar with. Rip, CP3, JJ, and Melo are the stars of this one, who are all vital to their own squads.
