Sorry, 'Ye-heads. According to an article by sole collector, the Nike/ Kanye collaboration shoe is for Mr. West's feet only. Ever since he wore them at the Grammys, shoe lovers- myself included- have been looking forward to their release. No dice. It appears that even though the shoe has been made in a plethora of colorways, none will be released to the public. I guess this is Nike's ever changing promotional technique. Really? Not one? Talk about super-exclusive. This is like Bapes on steroids.
My bold prediction: Nike will in fact release these to the public, but wait until '09 and keep as salivating with anticipation. After spending a year wishing we could get our hands on a pair, Nike will release them and nobody will complain about dropping $300 at Champs for them. Also look out for tons of fakes on EBay in the coming months.
